Hello there!
Its been a while since ive last blogged, but with the madness of Christmas, NYE along with getting back into the swing of things for a new year and wedding planning its been pretty crazy here!
So here it is my note to say i havent forgot about blogging and intend to add a blog for from the Christmas Hype and update on where the website is along with some WoW updates! So a standard ModCore Update!

Warlords - 15hrs so far and counting
Hey all!
Well so far as of now ive been streaming Warlords of Draenor for 15hrs and 13mins.

Last night on release there was some world server crashes caught one of them on video for you guys!
I have completed some of the Level 2 garrison stuff with my mage and started level 1 with my paladin, the server is getting full so the lag spikes are increasing!
So far an excellent expansion with the quests, characters and garrisons.

Warlords of Daenor - Live Streaming
Hello All!!!
Due to tonight being the realease of the new world of warcraft game - Warlords of Daenor, i have decded to setup a live stream and will carry on streaming until i fall asleep, so not sure when that will be yet!
I have started streaming on twitch and have a Timer on screen to show how long the stream has been up for!
So with this all in mind have setup at a friends house who will also be playing Warlords tonight so will be teaming up in the new quests and Garrisons!

Halloween Maze and 20 Wins!
Hello!
Well its been a busy couple of days with Halloween, recovering from Halloween and added a 20 wins video to the Hearthstone Collection.
So here is the first highlight from the weekend.
We went to a party in High Wycombe, invite from Elisa's work friend. This was a fancy dress Halloween party with homemade Maze!
Couple of drinks, some maze action some great people for a great charity.

Now for the gaming side of this, here is a new Hearthstone video, its the next step in the Hearthstone wins collection. I will carry on with this video and see how far i can get! Here hoping 100+ eh!
So its recorded in 1.5x speed as the last one!
The deal i made with myself is to try and play Hearthstone each night until i get defeated. So last night jumped on to play got into the first game and lost it, so that was it done for the night. This evening jumped on won 3 then lost so up to 23 wins will do another video at 30, then 40 and so on......
So there it is for now!

Heroes of the Storm Part 2
Well I have been on the Alpha now for a couple of games now and can say that I'm enjoying it. I know some will say its exactly like League of Legends and the Dota's but as a blizzard fan i can just relate to these characters, that for me is nice reason to keep playing this game.
Now ive playied some solo battles and a couple of online Vs games, its love it or awful situation. You can get a team who all work together and get the goals done.....or......you have that other type of team that just couldnt hold a kite down.
I will carry on with the Alpha and report back at later dates but until then here is the
2nd video in the HoTs Series.

A Blizzard Surprise
Well after a day at work, got home to find an email from my favorite game company - Blizzard. The email subject being "ModifiedMatty Welcome to the Heroes Of The Storm Technical Alpha"
Now this could be ranked in the top 10 types of email subjects being "Invite to Alpha/Beta stage of a new game"
So here it is!

Soapbox Building / Kite Flying / Hercules Drinking Game / Warcraft Questing and a Roast Dinner to finish it all off!
Well the week that has just past was full of interesting things but i will be high lighting the couple of things that have stood out!
Firstly for a work 2 day team building and conference, we headed up to Daventry (about an hour and 15 from home) the first half of the first day was very informative, the second part of the first day was an activity session, which involved building a Soapbox racer.
We got given a shell and 4 wheels and told to build the rest, couple of mandatory items like side skirts, rear spoiler and front nose cone. Once built each team raced, to try and win a place in the final.
For a team building activity this was a very good one!
Moving quickly on to Saturday with Pat, we had planned to purchase remote control planes as the next fad, this changed after we actually thought about it, we would break them too quickly!
So we moved onto Kites, this seemed more practical!
We headed to the Kite shop in town, purchased a 2.2m wing span "power kite" each. Due to being last years model (with the shop owner saying it was the packaging that had changed) the price was very competitive £35 each! bargain!
We head over to the windiest filed near Pat's house, after a good 15mins of setting up the kites, connecting all the strings and lines, we went for the first flight! Oh boy kites are fun! We must have spent a good couple of windy hours in the field whizzing the kites left and right.
Dont get me wrong, the amount of time the kite was in the air was equal to the amount of time spent untangling the lines once it came soaring down to the ground!
Overall the kites were great fun and looking forward to attaching a Go Pro to them and sending them up again!
Saturday evening we headed to Panda's house, and decided to play the "Hercules Drinking Game", which is essence, is get drunk while watching the disney classic, Hercules. Now the rules are pretty simple, whenever X happens....DRINK! So whenever a song starts (which is disney is pretty often!), whenever he is called Jerk-ules and a handful of other rules - Great game! Makes me want to get the Disney box set, 2 crates of beer and off we go!
Now onto Sunday, this was a very nice and relaxed Sunday, we had one of Elisa's friends round for lunch so we decided to cook a roast dinner, i say we decided, which we did, but Elisa cooked. This in turn left me nothing to expect jump onto Warcraft to finally try and finish off the legendary Cloak Quest line.
I have finally done it! for a second time! (both Paladin and now Mage).
Dont get me wrong it wont take 5 mins to replace the items when WoD is released, but feel i have achieved something by doing it.
Overall another great weekend, ready for a busy week at work!
Side note - I have now sold the Bitcoin Mining Rig on ebay! so now just trading on the markets with the coins i mined!
